Message from the President
Our goal is to sell as many new and used cars and trucks as possible.
To accomplish that we are prepared to sell our cars for less and put the most money in all the trade-ins no matter what make or model.
Every car made is the same. Every dealership is different and they all have their own culture. Our culture is that we care about your business and are always trying to find ways to do things better. Most dealerships are good, we just want constant improvement to be better and our goal is to be outstanding. Our slogan, "All Fords are created equal, it's the dealership that makes the difference". You would be surprised to know how many people think that car dealerships are owned by the factory. Some are but most are family businesses of which ours is one of the oldest in the GTA established in 1968.
We try and surprise and delight our customers. We make efforts to wash every car that comes in for service. We have loaner cars available and shuttle buses. Our Dodge store has a fitness facility and wireless Internet access. Both stores have complimentary coffee and a very comfortable lounge with a fireplace and chairs you can fall asleep in.
We specialize in tuck sales and leasing for personal and commercial use and have all kinds and sizes of trucks in stock. We are the king of customized Mustangs making us the top volume dealer in the GTA. We are one of only 25 SVT dealers in the whole country that exclusively sells the Shelby Mustang and other SVT products. Summit Ford has been Cananda's most successful Motorsport dealer for the past decade. We deal in Classic cars and have the ability to pay top dollar for your trade and can arrange to deliver cars anywhere. By having the Ford, Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep brands it allows us to specifically pay more for those trades if you want to cross over from one brand to another because we really need them for our used car operations.
Every new and used car and truck comes with an anti-theft program that has a $3500 benefit to the customer in the event of a theft. We are also filling every vehicle tires with Nitrogen to ensure longer tire life and better fuel economy. Nitrogen does not expand and contract like air and does not have the corrosion characteristics of air so it will save those aluminum wheels. It is proven and so good that all military and commercial aircraft use Nitrogen. We even have a service loyalty rewards program that you can share with your family.
We have one of the largest all make leasing companies that because of our size we can save you money and give you the peace of mind that not only will you get the best deal but that we will look after you long after the sale.
Our market profile is 100% across the board. We sell high quality, certified used cars for under $10 000 and have "as-is" cars for $2000 to $5000. The bulk of our volume is in the $15 000 to $30 000 range and have recently sold a classic car for over $250 000. We have a $200 000 Ford GT to celebrate Ford's 100th anniversary on the showroom floor for people to view.
Two of the things that we are very proud of here a Summit is that we have won Fords' highest honor 27 times and that is the most out of any metro Ford Dealership in Canada!
The other is how we got there and that is with the people who work here. We have people that have been here for 38 years in our parts and service department like Joe Drake, Warren Tabnor and Glen Pulham. Wayne McNeil our painter has been here over 20 years and we have yet to have a customer complaint! His work is truly outstanding. Others like Mike Briggs, Alberto Ciarallo, and Steve Hughes have been in sales for 20 years and Steve has just recently partnered with us in the new Summit Dodge Chrysler Jeep on highway 50 in the south end of Bolton. The owners, Brian Vickers and myself, Scott Vickers have been here for over 30 years.
