Hybrid & PHEV Models

The 2023 Ford Escape comes with an available plug-in hybrid powertrain, allowing you to adapt your drive to your needs, and stay efficient the entire time. Whether that be the electric mode or the power of the gas engine, wherever your Escape takes you you’ll be fit to meet the demands of the drive. The hybrid Escape models will see a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine complete with a CVT, with the FWD producing 210 horsepower, and getting an estimated 885 km on each tank of gas.. The PHEV will be able to go 60 km on its electric power, and can back up that power in only 3.5 hours thanks to a Level 2 240-volt charge, or take a bit longer overnight on a 110-volt charger for 10-11 hours. Four modes are available on the PHEV: electric, auto electric/hybrid, keeping the accumulated charge for implementation later, or utilizing the gas engine to charge up the battery for later use.
