1964 Ford Galaxie Country Sedan Station Wagon presented in factory raven black with original red bench seat interior. NASTYWGN is believed to have been painted once only, back in the 90’s, in it's original colour. The exterior shine is exellent for it's age with some patina on the roof only, plus the odd paint chip from years of driving enjoyment. This is a rust free 54-year-old survivor from Virginia. The mileage on the odometer is 86,355 and based on this vehicle's overall condition it is most likely accurate. Being a special order from the factory, NASTYWGN was originally equipped with a 390 cu. in. police interceptor V8 engine matched to a three speed manual column shift transmission with overdrive.

According to the original owner this car was purchased with the sole purpose of towing his house trailer on family vacations. The interior is mostly original with only some minor paint touch up, new seat covering and new carpeting. The head liner and sun visors are in very good original condition. All door trim panels are mostly original and in good condition. The stainless-steel trim all looks very good as does the chrome. The front bumper was replaced due to some minor damage and at the same time the rear bumper was also replaced to maintain the same new chrome appearance. Tail lights, grill and headlights are in good condition with the headlights being upgraded to new LED for better night vision. All glass is factory original except for a new tinted windshield. Both rubber and felt weather-stripping are in fairly good overall condition. Factory options include power steering, power brakes, dual mirrors, a factory AM radio and a factory clock and to improve overall interior comfort a Brand New A/C Unit from Old Air Products was installed.

Ford took the best of Shelby and the best from their in-house track guys and came up the 69’ and 70’ Boss Mustang lineup to compete in the Can-Am Series. I don’t believe for one second that these cars have reached anywhere near their potential. They were the best built Mustangs of the Era. By far the best handling that are fast and tight, with no squeaks or rattles and no overheating issues. These high revving 302’s putting out an honest 290 HP are a blast to drive. This numbers matching 302 has had the motor rebuilt under previous ownership. TARIFF FREE 1970 302 Boss Mustang fastback. This is one of Fords truly outstanding cars of all time. It takes great looks, great handling and awesome power to make a great car. This one has it all. A track car that you can drive on the street and one of the best balanced Mustangs ever built. Ford of Canada only allotted Summit Ford 2 Boss Mustangs in that year making this car a very collectible piece. In fact, of the 190,727 Mustangs that were made, only 7,013 Boss 302s were made for the world and only about 600 made it to Canada. This car spent the first part of its life on the track after leaving Summit Ford brand new, was later sold to Keith Dill, a Ford dealer in Niagara-on-the-Lake and then 20 years ago purchased back by Summit. A complete frame off restoration was done on this Boss back before Mr. Dill's purchase and with constant professional maintenance has remained in like-new condition for over 20 years. This is a very well optioned car with power steering, power brakes, dual racing mirrors, shaker hood, tachometer, rear window louvers, rally wheels and a 4 speed Hurst competition shifter. The Boss 302 came with a true performance engine that was way ahead of its time, built with solid lifters turning up over 7000 rpm making this engine virtually bullet proof. Additional features include factory power steering and factory power front disc brakes.
